I want a LMAO high..when should I harvest my plants?

title says it all..Im curious about when I should pull my plants in order to experience that "laughing uncontrollably sensation."

Is that more strain related or is it depending on the time U pull the plants?
I've been reading up and all I can find is that if U pull them early you get a "heady" high and if you let them mature you get that "couch-lock" high.. well if they dont make me laugh and feel "good" then Im gonna be pretty upset. what should I do to make sure I get this sensation? what strains should I be growing? or when should I harvest?

how do you know which strains will make U "lol"? I mean I read that sativa's give U an "energetic" high, when I think of "energetic" Im thinking about the times I've smoked and was still able to drive, dance, speak and talk logically, have sex, go out to eat or to the movies..you know what i mean?

I want something that I can hit a couple times and just sit back and be laughing at the dumbest things (like the movie Borat)...I dunno if it was a dream or not, but i think i read that if you harvest when plants are 50% amber trich's and 50% cloudy you should get that kind of high.

how true is that?

From my experience you need to harvest early to get the headiest high. But, as mentioned before in this thread, it's strain related. I am slowly working through all the strains that I recall hitting the spot. So far I've been through Master Kush, Dutch Afghan and California Orange bud. Next on deck is Nothern Lights.
Down the road will be blueberry, bubblegum and purple haze.

But so far I haven't found that dial tone.

Do me a favor and let me know if you find the money spot, and I will do the same.

Well Im into indicas which make me smile but are a complete body buzz. You get that heavy feeling with tingly knees and skin feels all staticy real lathargic and stoned. Sativas are more the head high which are supposed to have you able to function but I dont like to function so I dont smoke them to often if I can have a choice I like my body buzz.And it would be weird if the time you harveted dictated the thc s effects on the body lol

I usually get real smiley/excited and laugh at stupid stuff for the first 20-40 minutes with any 100% indicas, then I just start thinking about doing stuff but I'm too lazy to do it unless food is my motivation. I've never had weed that makes me smiley throughout the entire high.

That makes sense..indicas that make you smile, but yet a body buzz..thats a good high.. the times I KNOW I smoke indica, I felt like I was drunk, I couldnt move, stuck to the couch..I didnt feel like laughing at all, but my mind was at peace. It first hit my head, then made me feel like I just needed to sit down...and for some reason it felt like my arm was glued to my forehead.

I actually remember reading that the longer you let the plant grow the more THC & CBD it will build up and give you a different effect...(Im sure you've probably heard to let the trichs turn a certain color prior to harvest..)

Im on a mission to find the funny weed, the laughing strains..I just cant get over the feeling that the time you harvest is more important than the strain you're smoking.. just for the simple fact that ppl are saying they get the "smiles & giggles" from indica and sativa

and I dont want anyone to get me wrong and think that I only smoke for leisure, I do it bcuz its like a form a meditation for me, it opens up a new part of my brain and shows me things i would never see sober. Herb has powers contrary to what society says, the power to unite and heal..and we all need a little bit of that in our life. I know there are lots of people out there who knows tons about this subject, hopefully theyll drop a line or two.

the outcome of the high is a result of a few variable factors. The strain of the plant comes into play first and foremost. The types of fertilizers used also sometimes has a role in this matter. When not flushed properly some chemical nutrients can cause random pschological effects when smoked, significantly altering the high. It can also be affected through the time harvested, as this may be a crucial point in the deciding the outcome of your smoke. You want to see as already stated in this thread nice cloudy amber colored trichomes. This means that the plant is nearing the end of it's flowering cycle and has already put out it's last burst of energy into the flowers.

didnt know they could be cloudy-amber, I thought they were either cloud or amber..or 50/50..but thanks g0nz0

I asked the same question on another forum and according to them its more so associated with the harvesting time as well...over there I was told "50/50 amber & cloudy"..aother person said "harvest at about day 45-50 and have no amber trichs.."

any other opinions?

harvest when you can't hold out any longer. sometimes i hide my scissors. i usually harvest when i see my first "groups" of amber crystals.

that maui waui made me laugh A LOT, every time. i have cuttings rooting so i'll know in a few months.

Does anyone in this thread know if you can get jewler's loupes or any other 30x magnifying glasses at walmart or something? I went today, but they were closed for Easter.
