Anyone ever do this ? I searched the web and I came up with green koolaid/conditioner mix.....also some glow in the dark stuff at walgreens.....but I don't want glow in the dark....also hopefully don't destroy my hair in the process.

I want to do this for st.patricks day....I drive cab....the st.patty's day revelers will love it...we have a big parade here with a lot of irish, and a lot of drunks.

I'd call a women's hair salon and ask them, chicks (esp) young ones do it all the time

(Girl here, experienced to some degree w/ hair dye) If you have darker hair, the dye's will only make it look sort of dirty. You'd need to bleach your hair light first THEN semi-perm dye will work. If lighter hair, I'd use a spray in Like's B-Wild (sold at any chain salon like Hair Masters, Great Clips, etc or Beauty Supply stores. I've even seen it at Fred Meyer).

I think the spray ins are much better suited to what you want than hair dye. Once you get into jello, kool aid, etc, those will leave a green residue in your hair. As will even semi permanent dyes. You're better off to go w/ a temporary color like a spray in. It's the consistency of a really stiff sort of hair spray. It coats the hair, but pretty easy to get out, especially if your hair is cut short.

I've used the spray in stuff from B-wild before with good results. It did take a couple of shampoos to get out but nowhere near any of the dye's I've used in the past. Good luck! Hope it gets you good tips
