ideas for grow room 22ftx18ft

i am planning (after my current harvest) to start a larger grow. i want to dedicate like 60sqft to my grow. i have 4 400w lamps. i did the math for wattage and came up with 2400-3600w to power that area. but is it possible to do it with 1600w and a light mover? any takes?

Can't say for certain. What area are you comfortably able to cover with a 400w light now? I don't have a light mover, but that's going to be a purchase of mine in the near future. I would say whatever area you are able to cover with a 400 now add 2 to 3 feet to the end of it. I probably wouldn't expect much more than that. I know a lot of people will say 400w covers a 3x3 area but I think you might be able to get a 6x4 area with a 400w and a mover.

I don't know if you can cover the entire 60sq feet with 4x400w, but you will be close. I don't have the figures right in front of me but power wise you're looking at 4x460w or 1840w just for lights. That's not going to include fans or the light movers. If you only have 2000w to work with you're going to be cutting it close.
