identity plant strain

Hi there does anyone have a way of telling what strain they are growing just by its characteristics and no other information on the plant itself.

I've never heard of anything like that. I just see the plants that are unknown as bag seed. However leaves can tell which way the plant leans towards sativa or indica but guessing you knew that already. GOod luck!

Is there anything else that can tell us other than the wide and narrow leaf telling us indica or sativa dominant

Unless you are planning on selling it via actual marketing I'd say grow it the best you can and enjoy the smoke it provide you! You have any pictures of this plant or is it something you are planning on growing in the future?
