FOR EXAMPLE THE LEMON SKUNK FROM GREENHOUSE SEEDS IS ADVERTISED AS 9 WEEKS FLOWERING SO DOES THAT MEAN 9 WEEKS FROM WHEN I START IT FLOWERING IT WILL BE READY? It is just as a new grower i am sure i will not be able to provide optimum conditions. regardless of this will the plant still finish in 9 weeks and be ripe/ready for harvest?:bigjoint:

Yes.Under OPTIMUM conditions it will be ready to harvest 9 weeks after it shows it's sex.But you want to watch the trichromes around that time to make sure it's the right time. Not after you change your lights to 12/12.Then of course you have the drying, curing etc.
Did that make sense?:eyesmoke:

So your looking at about 3 months of growing if you include the vegi stage for about a month

i see so it might take me 1-2 weeks more than advertised, because i do not have optimum conditions for the plants. I will have to buy a pocket microscope to look at those capitulate stalked glandular bloody trichomes and they are expensive from what i hear. can i use a magnifying glass instead?????????? which will atleast be cheaper to buy??????

I have grown four strains of feminized seeds from GHS and I can tell you its best to add two weeks to what they say. I can also tell you they deliver what they say. Great genitics and the buds look like they do in the picture.

Of course if you are going hydro you would need to add flush time.

You can pick up a 30 x jewelers loupe on ebay shipped for like $5 and it works great.

thank you Cruzer 101. So i will most probably be flowering for 10 weeks or 11. I am growing in soil and using Bio Bizz organic stuff but i have been told to flush for 2 weeks to get best taste. Can i flush 2 weeks out of that 11 if you know what i mean so its 11weeks in total with two weeks at the end flushing no nutrients last two weeks just water????????

Sure, you can cut nutes back early, just not the lighting. Actually the last 48 hours in total darkness seems to help ripen the trichs.
