So male plants don't seed? So I planted 10 plants 5 showed signs of seeds. So I pulled them up. So did I pull male plants or did I pull hermies. And if they were hermies can I keep them around my females?

Hmm what do you mean they (males)are the pollen donors the seeds develop in the female buds or Herms either or as for can you keep a herm around your females without it pollinating it well only if it's not spitting viable pollen if it is then it will hit the rest and make seeds in the buds if you leave it in there?

Pics are always best...but sounds like the "seeds" you saw were male pollen sacs...at least I hope so. Males only produce pollen which pollenates female plants which will then produce seeds. Herms are pollen sacs that sometimes show up on female plants during flower....not desirable....unless you want seeds. If your careful you can pluck them off without pollenating your girls.
