my little girl, 1 week after repotting because of a nutes block. I'm sure it's not the nutes anymore cuz the leaves are all green without the yellow spots she had. I'm giving her botteled drinking water, ph of which is 6.9 but the soil itself is slightly to the acidic side as the label says. no ph meter till now. I'm watering her only when the mositure meter is showing a decrease. i know i'm doing something wrong to her.the fan is on all the time but the temperature shows 30 degrees celcius. Can the twirling of the leaves mean she's feeling hot under the HPS lamp which I plan to change to cfll's tomorrow? What to do? buy her an air conditioner? I'm already using my air purifier and moisturizer for her. Please give some ideas.

Looks like a heat issue to me, can you back the light off a bit?

i dont think its ur light ....how close is it?
could be too much nirogen

Don't spray under the lights. Got a fan blowing between top of plant and bottom of light? I use an oscillating one.
How's the fresh air situation?

the problem is that her sister is feeling great under such a lamp and heat and I don't wanna decrease her good state. I'll raise it right now and change it to cfl tomorrow. What do you think abou the air conditioner idea?

That would help, and I'm sure the aluminum foil is not helping the cause . . .

Curling leaves could also be a ph problem, if you move the lights and it's still happening.

I have an oscilating fan running 24hrs although they're getting 18 hours. I leave the door open for fresh air, a duct is there to exhaust and i put them an air purifier all day long

Well at least I helped you get some responses, I'm no expert, especially when it come to that clay, You can spay them with water just don't hit the Lights they may explode,,,never happened to me, But like I said looks like heat to me,,But I don't know that medium your growing in at least your getting some good ideas.

thanks nevertheless. I have the lamp under a glass hield to prtotect it, i was worried whether they might affect the plant though:(

i have the aluminium foil glued pale side out which decreases the hot spots phenomena

Does not matter what side the foil is facing it will cause hot spots especially with HID lights. Take it down it's probably part of your issue, replace it with something white. :peace:

You will not get anywhere near the growth rates you get with HPS if you switch to CFL's. I think you just need to back the light off a bit and improve air-flow.
that you are right, she has so many internodes considering her small height. Will a cooling tube help out much or should I go for an air conditioner?
