im stuck

a quick question i just got 400w hps light and some people are also telling me i need cool white lighht like mh so i was wondering wht you thought i was also wondering if yuou think i need any thing else im growing in a closet with some type of soil any suggestions

400 WATT HPS is good for both veg and flower. You will need some type of air movement (fan, blower ect) organic soil fox farm ocean point is the name I think. fox farm big bloom, grow big and tiger bloom food. loup to look at tricombs, carbon filter for the smell, ph tester, distilled water for watering ($1.00 gal very clean tasting weed well worth the money you will thank me). feed 3/4 strength once a week on the same day every week if possible.Get the feed chart at fox farm web site. The girls like routine. Close the door to your grow room and look for light leaks. If light gets out light can get in (not good) good luck

you can go with hps all the way thru....alot of people do. produces a fuller,stronger plant. go 24 on for veg then 12/12 flower. it'll veg alot quicker also. don't let her get much over a foot or you'll have a monster. chances are "someone" is gonna tell you hps will stretch your plants.....not true. just keep your 400 as close to your baby as you can without burning, just as you do with any light. the "cool white" produces a spectrum that is closer to the "spring" sun, while hps is more a late summer sun. mh or cfl's are not necessary and to me are just a case of over complicaating and overspending. included is a pic of my last babies hps all the way...1st is a g13 2nd a clone i let go too long in veg and last a toppedx1 big bud...all hps,all the way thru

ok so im gonna ue 20-5-5 for my veg and 15-5-5 or something for flowering suggestions? i was also wondering if i should get the liquid kind or water souble and how much water to Fertilizer do i use thanks
