Importance of outdoor temperatures

I live in Colorado's high desert, so similar to the mountains of Afghanistan that the military trains here. What I need to know is how important is temperature to cultivation of high quality marijuana. My plants will see days, during the summer, where temperatures will be in the low 100s. Since this happens during vegatative cycle, is this going to affect the eventual THC production of my plants? When the fall comes on here plants will be exposed to extreme variations of temperature ( days can be very hot, nights very cold ) What can I expect from these temperature variations? I tried getting info on this subject in another post, but of all the people that viewed the post, no one seemed to know anything as no one answered this question. My plants are doing very well, but I need to know what steps I can take to enhance production. I need to know what I can do to make my plants as fine as they are able to be. Please don;t read and not answer it is very discouraging. Here are my babies, as you can see they are doing well, concerned about what affect temperature has on MJ plants

MJ plants are very durable, hence the name weed. Your plants will survive through the high temps you mentioned but quality will probably be effected. Another thing growers fail to realize is that growing indoors at 100 degrees is a lot different than growing outdoors at 100 deg. Outdoors the depth of the soil keeps the roots relatively insulated even when temps are high. Indoors this is difficult to do. Not sure how you can keep them cool, but a good watering regiment and foliar during hot days should help.
