important question for hydro???

i am germinating my seed right now and was wondering after it cracks open if i just stick the seed into my rockwool cube into the hydro system? after that do i just water it with no light until the stem breaks through the top of the cube?

Yes, yes, and pretty much yes.

When I germ seeds in wet paper, I check on them every few hours, and as soon as I see the white root just stick its little tip out of the cracked seed, I pick it up carefully with a tweezers, and place it in the rockwool. Keep the rockwool damp and warm, and she will sprout.
