In Plain Sight

Has anyone ever tried to grow in plain sight? I live at the top of a canyon and the road is all the way at the bottom. Even when you are on the road you can not see all the way to the top. So I was thinking about planting just one plant to start off with and just keep the branches tied down to cut back on vertical growth. Has anyone else ever had the cojones to try something like this

Yes, but I wouldn't take the risk of growing a full size plant. Instead, I'd go with an autoflower strain as these will often only grow around a foot to 18 inches. They will blend in easily with any small shrubs, flowers, big rocks, or weeds.

Just pick a spot where a small plant won't stand out and will get decent sun. And if you get comfortable with growing, never get too wild and stick too many plants together. Spread em around.

It's always better to grow off your own property, but you can do what you're planning. Just don't go overboard.

Hi
My first grow (about 25 yrs ago) was on the top of a 40 acre hill with busy streets on three sides. I grew 6 plants and let them run to about 9 ft. Even at their full size, I couldn't spot them from the road...And I knew wherre to look.
When going for an open grow, it's best to match the crop to the prevailing vegitation's color and size. Time your crop to coincide with the normal growing season in your area. You want your crop to finish while the surrounding vegitation is green. A beautiful green baby will stand out. A long running Sativa may just outgrow it's welcome (impossible as that is to imagine! .......Peace...Dan
