I have a solis tek and like it so far. It gets pretty warm but with a small fan on it it's cool to the touch. I went with the solis tek because I found it cheaper. The few people that I talked to about them said that lumitec is overpriced junk but all of the reviews I read on both were equally good.
I didn't get the one with the LCD display, built in timer, and remote. But looking back the built in timer would be nice as I could run it off of 220v and save a little on the electric.
