^^^^ what they said :leaf:

Top one does look heavy indica.
Bottom one has more sativa characteristics, but I've seen 50/50s ( so they say .. ) that look like that. Hard to say exactly how "sativa" it is, but definitely more than the top. A side view ( of their profile ) might give more clues. If those came from the same bag, that's an interesting mix of genes from one plant.

and the explanation for why they can be different even though from the same bag is that it wasn't an f1 hybrid, meaning that more genes could be present in the phenotype (too stoned to remember if that is right lol, could be geno).

rookie means that your genotype (genetic make up) has more than one phenotype (physical characteristics, growth patterns, leaf structure, smell, taste, etc.) This is common until a stain has been stabilized through generations of back-crossing and selective breeding.

you can tell because the leaves look different. Fat leave are indica, the narrow leave plants are more sativa.

and why do ppl not like sativa and why is indica better???
Personal pref. really. Indica's seem to not grow as tall and is more of a body high. Sativa is a head high, if im not mistaken.

and why do 2 post for 2 questions back2back?

well like someone mentioned earlier... it's a more difficult to obtain an almost pure sativa plant -- at least so i believe.

by the looks of it, it looks as if the top plant -- The Indica -- you would want to use later in the day to relax better and get a better body high; while the bottom plant -- The Sativa -- you would want to use earlier in the day to help wake you up better and almost give you more energy!

Indica tends to have more of the other cannabinoids such as CBD, and Sativa usually has a higher concentration of THC -- and if i am wrong, someone please correct me.

but personally... i LOVE a REAL GOOD Sativa!!! but dude... bud is bud, and ALL of it's Good!

That raises a good question, is it true that if it looks like a sativa, it will always give you a sativa high ?
