Indica Strain/ Seed company advise neaded from forum members please

Hi to all!

As per title really.

Some info:
I have only ever really grown White rhino but is a X here in the uk we call it s8 rhino, I have no idea about its origins etc, its just that the cuttings are easily available to are area
(its very hard to come by any other strain from cutting that come close to the rhino strength or smell so have always stuck by it)
I do love the rhino, its very deep an strong couch-lock feel pretty potent kick, i think i would say the taste would be a hashish like with a hint of fruitiness maybe?
Its also a brilliant bushy strong plant to grow, I seem to always yield between 1 3/4 ounces to 2 1/4ounces a plant, would you say this was medium yield or high?...im unsure.

But since i have smoked the same strain for so many years now i have become very bored of it, and after forever seeing other members trying these new wonderful tasty strains, i have been itching to try something new.

So please help with my round in circles quest haha

Im looking for a very strong potent indica (can be a x with sativa but mainly has to be indica) its for medicinal use, has to be for indoor growing
with high yield (matching or above what i net now, roughly 2ounces a plant)
taste wise im looking for something with a deep fruity hashish taste, but im keen to try other flavors aswell also, so that dosnt have to be set in stone.

On to my next dilemma since i started my quest I cant decide on a seed company to use as of yet, I always seem to settle with a company after alot of looking an reading descriptions of the strain that fits my list of criteria, then look at reviews of said company to always find bad reports on forums.

First i settled on Bodhi seeds always hear good reviews but always to late to buy the beans as they sell so fast!
(im still unsure what indica would be the best to buy for me from Bodhi any ideas from people who have grown there indica type strains?)

Then i looked at Barneys farm untill again loads of bad reports on them an strains, so looked at world of seeds same again, then i thought finally i found the company for me DNA genetics! There stacked kush, la women an so on seemed to fit the bill nicely! until yes you guessed it, researched the forums an loads of bad reviews on there seeds an said strains.

So after 2 months of looking im back to square one all over again

Please forum members im in need of your guidance an wisdom :)

:What company to use who sell feminized seeds with very reputable strong indica strains with good germ and female rate?
:Needs to be indica dominant
:Strength as strong as possible vey potent for medicinal use i.e couch-lock as its called, i need something like a sledgehammer to the head to knock me out
:Indoor growing
:High yielding
:Taste, something to blow me away
:Smell, very potent
:Good bag appeal

Will be extremely grateful to anyone that can give me some help and good pointers in the rite direction, sorry for the rambling
:peace:

The reason most people will bad mouth a breeder/seed company is usually because they don't fully understand cannabis breeding and what they are buying. Sure, sometimes it is germination rate but most of the time it is phenotypes that are nothing like the advertised product or having a bunch of different phenotypes in one batch of seeds. As far as germination rates go, reputable seed companies will usually replace your seeds if you have horrible germination rates and are using proper methods to germinate. But that takes work and most people are either too lazy to contact the seller or afraid to because what they are doing is illegal. With phenotype variations and such, well...breeders put a lot of work into developing strains and usually release F1 hybrids. I won't get into genetics here but they do this to keep variations in order to protect their work and make it harder to copy. The shorter amount of time that a hybrid has been around, the more variation there will be in the seed stock. (usually) Your best bet in buying seeds when looking for something that is close to homogenous is to either find an IBL (inbred line, which is rarely true IBL but close because of copycats) or go with a strain that has been around for quite some time. I have used seeds from Barneys, Greenhouse, DNA, Eva, Samsara, Flying Dutchmen, Reserva Privada, Cali Connection, and quite a few more. I have had great success but not always wonderful results. Growing seeds will always be a risk and you will usually have a variation in the offspring. I'd go with a seed company that has been around for a long time and a strain that has been as well. There are so many strong indica/indica dominant strains out there. I know I didn't exactly help answer your question, but I hope I helped some.

I only buy seeds from well established companies that have a track record of producing good quality seeds: Barney's Farm, Green House Seeds, Sensi Seeds, Dutch Passion etc.

In my personal opinion, you are on the right page with DNA. Their genetics are excellent, however they have a sister company called Reserva Privada and I'd definitely recommend the strain Kandy Kush from them which is OG Kush X Trainwreck. It is a very heavy indica with exactly the taste you are looking for. It does wonders for me medicinally as well. It was very easy to grow in fact it was one of the best plants I've ever grown. I lost the main cola after it was light burned while I was away, and I still yielded about 2 1/2 oz. You would love it!

Thanks to all that have helped in my search of strains, have really helped alot

dellamore brilliant news! thank you for taking the time to post, i have checked out Reserva Privada strain you mentioned defiantly is one on the list now kandy kush sounds delicious :), skywalker kush also looks appealing, has anybody got any feedback on skywalker?

brosforlifebro, also thanks for your post, researched strawberry cough and seems like a winner, again has anyone got any feedback on yields etc? as im struggling to find info, and also seed availability isnt great has anyone got an companies that might stock them?

So the list so far

Dna Genetics-Stacked Kush, LA Women
Reserva Privada- Kandy Kush, Skywalker Kush (possibility dependent on feedback on yields)

If anyone would like to post some more strains they have grown that fit the criteria below please feel free todo so, im looking to build up a decent list of strains to try in the near future :)

all the old dutch seed banks have gone down hill tbh... attitude is a good online shop for anything you do choose. tbh i like seeds but they take so much time and selection that i dont really bother that often. you would be much better off trying to get the actual clone only rather than a cross/bx/s1 from a seed bank....

btw sent you a pm with some ideas..

Pineapple Express from g13 labs. It will fit all your criteria. But make sure you have ample ventilation cuz it smells really really powerful.

I've nothing bad to say about Attitude either, I ordered my C99 and Lemon Kush from there and it came through just fine. I do however not purchase from there any more, I prefer sea of seeds as it feels more community run and it's cheaper, but the best bit is no matter how much you spend you always receive 5+ freebies. So even for the once a year kind of grower, it's really convenient.

To the OP, if I were you I'd stick with a small hand full of companies of which to buy seeds from. My personal list is Sagarmatha, Female Seeds, DNA Genetics, Reserva Privada and Mr.Nice, I'm also venturing into Sweet Seeds and Delicious seeds. I've read nothing but good things about all of those listed aside from a few growers claiming hermies, probably through their own fault but it is easier to blame the breeder eh?

I've not grown much and I am still learning myself but of the plants I have/currently growing, I've had 1 hermie and 2 seeds not germinate, those were all my fault though and happy to admit it.

If you're looking for a fast flowering potent indica dominant strain then look no further than Green Poison by Sweet Seeds. I've only smoked it once and it was enough to make me buy some seeds.

I had 1 joint and it took me 2 hours to walk a 25minute walk I was so stoned it was beyond belief.

No he is right and you are wrong. Go and buy Greenhouse white rhino or white widow, then go and buy Mr.Nice medicine man(white rhino) or black widow(white widow). You'll see the difference in quality.

You can buy a cheap knock off sports car for 20,000 and have a few thrills before it breaks, or you can buy a Lamborghini for 200,000 and have the time of your life for many years.

how much money you think these guys spend on adverts?? alot of it is to chinese to...

Strain hunters is a devastatingly bad video to a true cannabis lover. Greenhouse is the corporate monsanto of cannabis.

Most of what he sells is other peoples work or just name sakes. Like Bubba kush, Chemdog etc.

I guess if you aint tried better quality genetics Greenhouse are the bomb digidy. But when you open your eyes you soon feel ripped of or worse

edit:
Also when a non regular smoker goes to A,dam I bet you they go to GH... their they will meet true genetics grown out in spain or Swiss. I know Dampkring used to buy Shantibabas Widow and G13 hybrids....... anyways when they ask how can i get this.. man behind counter (bobblehead) only happy to sell them shwagg seed as they dont know if its true or not

double edit... Kandy kush and kandy kush hybrids ive ad have all been the opasite to heavy indicas.
Kandy kush skunk is midle line but straight kandy kush is over 60% sativa influence

tbh greenhouse seeds are shit and have been for a long time. all the old dutch companies like sensi, mr nice, greenhouse etc.. they are all watered down to what they used to be.

if i bought anything form seed at the moment it would be gage green, og raskal, rare dankness, subcool, somewhere along those lines. but obviously thats just my own opinion..
