Im about 3 weeks into the Veg Stage of my 1st grow. I have 16 plants all in the W.W. family w/ an avg height of 15". I plan on putting more than 1/2 of them outside and keeping a few inside. I have 1 plant in particular that has always been Bigger, Stronger, & Healthier then all the others, even when I almost killed them all this 1 was still goin strong. Im expecting this plant to be my biggest producer and as w/ all my plants Im goin for quanity. Should I put it outdoors or keep in inside? On 1 hand Im expecting big yeilds from it so outdoors would be the way to go but on the other hand I would cry if something happened to it. What should I do?

i like indoors it costs more for setup and power but you have more control
I def. hear ya but like I said, Im goin for quanity. Id rather get 1-2 pounds than 1-2 ounces but I dont want anything to happen to it outdoors. If it goes outdoors I will take every precaution to keep it as safe as possible. I value your opinion and I thank you for your responses to my last couple of posts on here. Im new to this website & new to growing so any advice or help I can get I will def. heed it. I like your avitar thingy too, that thing is great. Have you grown both indoor & outdoor

I have 2 good guys that Im good friends w/ & that I trust. Im gonna give them some bud for letting me grow on theyre land. They both have alot of land and it will be secure at both places. Im not worried about humans gettin the plants, Im worried about animals gettin them. I would put fencing up and anything else I need. Not saying Im gonna sell it but if I did I could get around 4 g's per pound of W.W. where im at. Sorry for sounding ignorant but what does DWC mean? Your getting 1-2 pounds from indoor per plant or from more than 1 plant? And did you say that you have it set up so that your producing a new batch of bud every 9 weeks? Also I live in the N.E. region of the U.S. so I can only grow outside once a yr and Ill def be growing indoors the rest of the year.

and yeah i have two rooms 1 a veg room
and a flower room
in the veg room i have clone booth
i cut clones before i put the girls into the flower room
so that i veg for 9 weeks then transfer into the flower room

you grow in a soil-less medium then when the plants get bigger the roots grow into a rez which is full of nutes and bubbles
then your plants really get moving

Right now Im growing w/ ProMix Soil w/ FloraNova Nutes for Veg stage. Im just about finished w/ my grow room. I have a seperate 12' x 7' room in my basement and I basically divided it in 1/2. I sheetrocked it then hung Mylar. I have all my plants Vegging right now in the 1 half and as soon as Im done w/ the other half thats gonna be my Flowering room. Im also gonna do what you did and add a small seperate booth either in or right off the Veg side for my clones.
So, I should keep my plants in the Veg room for about 9 weeks total and then cut my clones right before they go in the flowering room right? I already have a few clones goin right now. I posted a thread about Clones alittle while ago too but you basically answered my questions for me. When I cut them off where on the plant should I take them from, the lower, middle, or upper part of the plant? Ive heard either the top or very bottom.

i take clone from all over ,some say the bottom cause strike better or is it the top?
you dont have to veg that long its up to you but i like mine bigger
its a thing you have to work out and find what works then push it a bit more
thats what keeps it fun
why would ya bother going outdoor if ya got a shit grow room?

I heard to take from the bottom cuz those branches dont get alot of light & will stay small anyway. Ill prob have to Veg at least 9 weeks cuz I stunted all the plants real bad from underfeeding them. I figuired it out just in time and they look great now but theyre still alittle small for their age. I took a bunch of pics showing the progress of me building the room. I lost a few of them when my last laptop crashed but I have a bunch of new pics I just have to transfer them onto this new laptop. Your subscribed to this post right? So if I post the pics on this thread will u get an email saying that I posted a new message? I will put them up tomm. Like I said, I was gonna grow outside cuz I want alot bigger yeilds. And while those plants are outside growing Ill still have clones in my room downstairs growing. Plus Ill be using the room alot during the fall, winter & beggining of the spring.
Right now I only have 1 1000W but im goin today to get another one. I wanted to sell my 1000W and buy 2 600 watters. I need to get some sleep but I will def. post those pics tomm. I would like to get yours or anybody elses opinion on how it looks and make sure I did it right.

If you almost killed all your plants, then I'll promise you're not getting 'pounds' of product outdoors. You'll be susceptible to pest, irregular waterings, and your experience levels sounds like it's at zero right now. I think you just need to understand your options. Indoor will yield less but the quality will be better. Outdoor typically will yield more but you'll potentially have all sorts of issues with pests and weather and your product won't be as good. If you have 2 600's indoors, an experienced grower will pull a pound off of each, easily. I just think you're setting your expectations too high when it really sounds like you don't have the process dialed in.
Heres some pics of the plants & the Flowering Room & the unfinished Veg/Clone Room. Yes I already told you this is my 1st grow so my exp. level is zero but I did alot of research before hand & Im learning at a fast pace as I go. Believe me. I understand about outdoor having a lot bigger yeild but not as potent and vice versa. I also know that sinse this is my 1st grow that it will prob take a few times before I get the process & the plant size/quality where I want them to be. When I was talkin about big yeilds I just meant in general, Im not expecting to get 2 pounds per plant on my 1st try, although I do think that out of my 16 plants theres 4-5 plants that are very strong and could produce like that on the 1st try. I know I have alot to learn but as for right now I think Im doin a pretty good job and I have a few good people helping me plus people on this site when i need it. When I stunted the plants they were 3"-4" tall and have long recovered so I dont forsee any future side effects of that. As you can see in the pics All my plants have a nice green color and look very healthy. Right now I just have the 1 1000W MH but Im goin to pick up another 1000W setup tomm or Mon. Theyve grown about 5" each in the last 48 hours sinse I talked to you last. Anyway, let me know what you think & any advice if or comments that could help would be appreciated.
