Indoor/outdoor clash help

Hello all, seeing how growing pot is illegal and all where I'm from lol, I needed a great place, close by, that is totally confined and lockable. The space under my house is absolutely perfect for that. There's PLENTY of room, the space is as wide as the house, and about 5.5-6.5' tall depending on where you are in the area. I smoke a lot, A LOOOOOT, and its getting really expensive, hense the reason I want to grow my own. So, since the space is in a spider webby w/ a touch of coch roaches and enclosed area, what would be the best way to go about growing some FAT herb. Here are my plans so far.

-Rock Wool Substrate
-Flourescent lights
-fans
-constant drip watering method
-starting germination in the last 10 days of the month of May so it will be warm (a lot of people start up their plants in the spring to give it more time to grow, but appariently as I've heard, thats one of the top 10 biggest mistakes growers make) and will go from there.
-Will be using Tin Foil and Mirrors to reflect extra light onto the plants
-will be using some sort of fertilizer, but for the conditions these plants will be kept in, not sure what kind to use...
-will grow plants vertically from ground up to start, and if they get too tall, will have to use some sort of horizontal growing method...

Any good advice would be greatly appreciated, what stumps me the most is that since its in an enclosed area, and the enclosed area is linked to the outside, I'm not sure if I'm supposed to use indoor or outdoor growing techniques. I need maximum yields with up to 6 plants, and any sweet tips or tricks to get a better/longer high out of the yields. Thanks.

i'm really confused. ok your using lights so your indoors. yet you speak of outdoor seasons. it's enclosed yet outside. i want to help. my head hurts.

6 plants.. I think you would use the indoor techniques..outdoor is more so involving sunlight, soil and fighting off the forces of nature.. and its good that its linked to the outside bcuz it will be great for air flow/circulation...and it would make sense that the majority of failure would come from ppl planting too early, but keep in mind ur talking about using a drip system to grow some hydro, so you wont have to worry about things like ground temperature, soil ph, and the spring time bugs and critters ..

I say start off earlier than may..maybe the beginning of april but put them inside, maybe in a closet until you go thru the first couple phases of growth so you can monitor them, and make sure nothing gets them, get them real healthy and strong first, and then put them outside. around that time they will start to smell...make sure the temp will be warm enough as well as the humidity in the right range and u should be good 2 grow!

tin foil will be ok..not the best but ok for the first few weeks, then you'll need to step your game up and get some reflective mylar or just add more mirrors around the plant to focus the light...the fluorescent light will be ok for the seedling stage and the vegetative stage..and if your planning on making clones of the plants you can use Flouros.. after that I think you'll wanna change the lighting up to MH or HPS..but ive seen ppl finish their plant using CFL's (curly light bulbs) and they got a pretty decent yeild. I would also plan on having more than 6 plants..maybe even 9 or 10 bcuz remember you gotta cut down the male plants bcuz they wont produce bud, only pollin and that could pollute the female plants which is something you defintly dont want..

with a little time, a decent head start and some TLC I think you got a great idea going...but you should start as early as possible, especially from seeds bcuz you never know how many is gonna actually sprout, and how many is gonna be male.

As far as ferts, you need something mostly high in Nitrogen (N) for the vegetative stage and something a little stronger in phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) for the flowering or budding stage..but remember dont start using ferts until at least 2 weeks after the seeds open, or until the plants are asking for the ferts..you will know when the plants are asking for it, just read up on more info of how to tell.... and STOP using ferts at least 2 weeks before you plan on harvesting so your smoke wont be harsh or have a funny taste.... and never use the label's recommended use of ferts, bcuz its usually more than the plants can handle

and most importantly READ READ READ as much material as you can before growing and watch as many videos as you can before also.

As for the Mylar, I just ordered a roll of 54" by 100' lol, think that'll be plenty?

Oh more importantly, I've decided to get "Big Bud" seeds from Buy Marijuana Seeds and cannabis seeds from Holland - high quality marijuana seeds (cannabis seeds). Appariently they're supposed to be really easy to grow and they can handle indoor and outdoor climates, perfect. But yeah yall see what my problem was lol, shits' confusing! Aight thanks for all the great advice, anything else anyone would like to add?

I don't really think using mirrors is a very good idea. Everything else sounds good to me. What kind of seeds are you planning on getting? Well good luck with the grow.

I am still confused is the indoors or outdoors?

He is growing under his house so I guess his house is off the ground a little. Its outside his house but he is going to grow like its a indoor because the sun can't get to the plants if they are under his house.

I was thinking about doing something like that but my house off the ground enough. Maybe I can make a sliding door in the floor so I can get to my plants or something. I'll figure it out.

i too am still confused. why worry about what month it is if you are using lights?

I am guessing that it's not insulated or totally enclosed. So bascially he is just growing in a cool basement.

indoor growing conditions, outdoor temperatures and humidity. Humidity is fairly high here, a good 56%. But since the temperature and humidity will affect the plants' wellbeing/growth, it has to be the right time. btw, any tips on controlling the smell? I do have neighbors, but only across the street and beside me, noone lives behind me thank God so getting in and out of my grow room wont be a problem...

Okay so... change of plans lol. I'm thinking about digging out a space underground and supporting it with aluminum fence posts, 2X4s and some ply wood. Nothing too huge or fancy just big enough to grow 3 or 4 plants. Room height would be about 8'. Geez I'm gonna need some help...

I was also thinking about trying to figure out where my stove is in relation to where I'd be planting underground to help with any heat sensing the cops might try to do. Plus being underground further, I'd like to think it'll help with the odor and also help me to not get caught. What yall think?
