Alright so i am growing in a space approximately 2 feet wide, 2 feet deep and 2.1 feet high.
I have 4 spiral CFLs, 2 of which are 23 watt soft white 2700k and the other 2 are 26 watt daylight 6500k and i also have 2, 18 inch flouro tubes which i used foil tape on the top to reflect all of the light down instead of everywhere
I lined the walls with one of those emergency blankets from wally world, and i am growing in a soil mixture of....
* Hyponex potting soil with 1 part perlite and i tossed in some bloodmeal for the high amounts of nitrogen it releases, later on i will toss in some bonemeal for the phosphorous. I had my plants in Miracle Grow potting soil but after reading about how its really bad and noticing that there are indeed a shit ton of bugs and mites in the dirt when i bout it i decided to transplant my babies, i was careful and used This Superthrive plant reviver/transplanter liquid so it wouldnt go into shock...let me tell you it works amazing my plants grew 2 more sets of leaves the same nite i transplanted them.
I recommend the hyponex soil cuz its got a good mixture of sand to dirt ratio for faster draining and less root rot, that and mix in some perlite and your golden.
I have 2 PC fans acting as the intake and outake for fresh air and the temp stays at a steady 75F with moister steady at 30% however i came up with an idea to get that moisture up!! next time you do your laundry hang them up to dry in the same room it makes it smell great and my humidity rised to 50%.
I dont know what kind of strain im growing for this is my first indoor grow and im using unknown bag seeds which i thought were growing slow at first but now that i am using this good soil mixture they are starting to come around thank god. I just ordered these lites 2 days ago to help get some more light in my the box...
1 x Sunlite 45W CFL Bulb: 6500K (Vegetative) Standard Base
> 1 x LED FAR Red 660nm Grow Light 1W - Standard Base 120V
Now i now im gunna need a heck of a lot more lights so i plan on adding a few more this weekend after i add my 45 watter and the 1watt LED
