Info on mixing your own nutrients

Does any one have any experience on mixing your own nutrients from powder? What kind of dry powders and ratios? Also Where are some places online to find the items.

we were getting custom and individual powder nutes from him for decades. its easier to just tell him what you want and let him mix it, or choose one of his custom blends, I suggest tropical. tough to ph, watch for that.

I use Vitagrow https://www.vitagrow.com/ It's a three part nutrient line which is just part A micronutrients, part B calcium nitrate, and part C monopotassium phosphate. I typically just follow the directions on the label but you can easily adjust the ratios.

I've been with customhydronutrients.com for a while now and couldn't be happier. Inexpensive dry salts, organics, and amendments... and shipping isn't too bad either.

Full articulation of feed is a huge bonus when fixing problems or meeting specific feeding needs.

Use something like hydrobuddy if you're wanting to dial it in for each fertilizer, or do like I did and just experiment to see what works. Its a lot of work but i'm glad I did it; I do NOT miss buying expensive bottles of water!
