Hi Guys!
Growing outside has gone pretty well but I'm making the move to indoor for a while. I just built this cabinet for my new indoor ebb n flow setup and I would like to ask you for advice and pointers on the setup.
I'll enclose a few pics so you can see the basics and take more this weekend when I get my cam hooked up.
The cab is high grade plywood and is 72" tall 29 1/2' deep and 37" wide. We built it to accomodate my tray which is a 2'x3' ebb and flow. In prefab I painted the inside bright white and then used mylar on the sides and top and inside the doors.
The light is a 400 watt switchable mh/hps setup with a super groovey digital NextGen 90v-260v ballast.
The exhaust fan is an Active Air 400cfm and sits on the left side wall of the cabinet and has a big filter that goes on it (not shown, I'll put it together and install that part this weekend). The air intakes are in the lower part of the side walls and are four 4" circular holes with black elbow pvc outside of the box.
My question is about the intake for the light. Do I just leave it open or leave a piece of tubing on it pointed downwards (as it is now) or what am I supposed to do about that part.?
