interesting find at the local aquatics store...

I walk in and ask the guy there for filters, and low and behold I find a small (but oh so big for us) milk carton like box of activated carbon pelets for 5.99 can you say DIY? >=)

When I start my hydro grow, i plan on buying a box or 2 and grinding the carbon a little smaller than it is and wraping it in coffee filters, to stuff into my ducting setup. Think this is a good idea?

There should be a DIY with these already look around.
