I've got a watering problem. Okay, here's the situation. I'm going on vacation for about 10days and there's no one to take care of my plant. I can't let anyone take care of it for me since no one even knows I'm growing it in the first place. So the question is....What can I do/ set-up so my plant can survive without me for 10 days? My plant is more or less 1month & 2 weeks old and is in a clay pot about 8in. in height and a 10in. diameter. If possible, links or downloads for a guide would be really helpful.^^

Get a 2 litre bottle and an aquarium tubing kit, connect a piece of tubing to the bottom of the bottle and thru an adjustable valve and down to the plant. Let it drip slowly for the next 10 days and you'll still be good when you get home. Understand where I'm coming from ?

i`m having the same problem going for 10 day soon, i was thinking puting tha plnats on some tipe of bucket with a hole for exaust in the bottom, exausting to a reserv( with an airstone, so the water be airated). A pump conectes to a digital timer ( 15 minut on of interval, was the minimun i can find) so one day every 3 or 4 days for 15 minuts the pump will turn on and the water would flow trough the pot and to the exaust at the bottom to the reserve. that cicle for 15 minuts every other day( yo can control it with the electric timer).

the only problem is that if in the drainege from the bucket( high ) something get stuck and the flow stop you would get a wet room.

if you or someone have some suggestion will help a lot.
the less we want is coming back and found dead plants.
obviousle the the plant and the bucket have to be higher than the reservoir so the the potential energy helps with the flow
