Is 4 cfl's enough?

I have 2 vegging, they seem pretty happy and are looking more lush by the day. They are getting four 100W equiv (four 23's/or 26's) on 18/6 schedule. All 4 bulbs are 6500K, heavy on the blue spectrum. And yes, I'm keeping the bulbs as close as possible w/o burning my babies (is it ME or does tending to your babies make you feel very content?? I just LOVE looking at how beautiful they are). Now I realize that I have already said they seem happy, but anybody else have input? What kind of cfl useage am I looking at for flowering these 2 kiddos? Spare me the math, and talk to me in #'s of bulbs I'll be looking at here.

basic rule is 100w for the first plant and 50 for each additional. Just go buy another 4 pack and then you will have like 150+w 's

I never know what ppl are referring to, 100w equivalent or 100w actual. Soooo 4 (100 equiv/23 actual) bulbs is vast overkill for 2 plants?

First off, I tend to my babies every time I enter the house, before I got to bed, or if I haven't looked at them in a few hours, so no, it is NOT just you, lol.

My set up includes 4 CFL's, 23W at 6500K temp and min of 1200 lumens each. But I'm working with 4 plants instead of just 2, and for right now they seem to be doing ok. This is my first grow so I'm still learning, but 1 bulb per plant seems to be ok for right now. I'm sure not all 4 will be females once they decide to sex but I will still use all 4 bulbs. Each plant has their own light, all in close quarters of each other. They are all in different stages between 1 and 4 weeks of veg, my oldest started off slow but is now really picking up speed on just the one bulb and ferts.

As far as flowering, I understand switching to the opposite specturm, the 2700K bulbs. Not sure on lumens though.

Ok good, glad to know I don't obsessively look at my plants either. They're just so pretty. Ill take these over roses anyday. Maybe this is why I'm soooo impatient, like watching water waiting for it to boil!

Most agreed my friend, being impatient is tough, I can't wait to flower! But after so many trial and errors and realizing that shit really does need to be a certain way, and needs to be right to have plants that actually grow is so worth the ride. Almost creepy that those little girls get so much love, haha.
