Is a 400w HPS too much for new clones??

A friend and I have two large mothers and roughly 200 one week old cuttings in a medium size master walk in closet. We have a 400w HPS hanging from the ceiling about 4 feet from the clones. Over the last couple of days the clones have began to droop a bit and some of the leaves are turning yellow. The clones are contained in a home made aero cloner being misted 24 hours a day and are being folier fed 5 to 7 times per day and the nutrient is in the spray bottle. My opinion is that the light is too intense for the clones and /or the room is not properly ventilated. There is no fan and the door is not cracked or open for fresh air to come in. We have had problems with clones in this room since day one. A flouresent is being used as well for other trays that are above on a shelf in oasis cubes. These cuttings seem to be doing the same thing. They look healthy for about a week and then begin to go down hill. Please help....I would like to know other peoples thoughts on this.

How many times do they need to be foliar fed. Also my main concern was the light and ventiation. Does anyone think that is too much light and could it be since I keep the door shut that it would not be getting proper ventilation??

how big is the room and what kind of ventilation do you have....If its that high I dont thin kthat is whats doing it.

well if you are foliar feeding that much that is whats killing the plants.

you just need to mist them with plain water. and water them with a very very very mild nutrient solution, or just plain water.
