Is a herb iron okay to put oil on or touch to oil?

So like the title says is it okay to get oil on the tip? Cause it says no liquids but I'm just curious if anyone's tried it cause I think it'd be great for bots.

idk I think it'd be too hot personally but I say try it and see.

hmm perhaps I will, I just really don't want to risk breaking it since it's $100 for another one =/.
