Is an Air Pump Needed With an EZ-Clone

I have the small Ez-Clone Classic 16, 16 bay machine,. It comes with a water pump and a spray system with water nozzles. I see that the bigger systems also have air pumps. My system doesn't have an air pump. I have a small Million Air MA 200 air pump. Is it worth hooking it up to my EZ-Clone system or are the water nozzles enough.

I think the red misters that attach to the manifold sre enough to oxygenate the water

I was also wondering if it is worth putting the water pump on a timer or leaving it running all the time? I have a mechanical timer that can be adjusted in 30 minute increments.

In Hydroponics your boosting the growth of the plant. The more energy, c02, food and water you provide the faster it will grow.

An abundance of one is no good without the others. So if you aren't "super feeding" it then just keep it moist and full of condensation. However long of a setting that is you will need to judge.
