Is changing from 400w to 600w in week 6 flowering going to help yield?

Well I bought a 600w for my flower room because it's obviously the way to go...

What I want to know is am I going to yield much more since I added it the first day of week 6 flowering?

If it matters they dont really seem to have "swollen" yet. They look nice but not soda can thick colas... Yet (fingers crossed)

With the 400w I was expecting 6-12oz (I'm pessimistic but most growers that have looked say 12)

So should I expect more now?

Now I'm vegging under cfl's (that's all I had), am I going to see a big difference in yield if I switched to the 400w light to veg?

not by a huge amount, but it certainly wouldnt hurt unless you started to get major heat issues or the like. But your buds probably are mostly grown at this point, may just make them a bit more dense.

And switching to 400w for veg is gonna make the process of vegging a lot faster. Not necessarily going to change your yield per plant.

by all means the change to a 600 is a good thing. Just be weary of heat issues as mentioned by Buds McFadden. How much it will effect the outcome is dependent on a number of factors. The main one being, what type of ganja is it? If it's a sativa or sativa dominant for example it could easily bud for another month and a half. In this case a 600 will make a noticeable difference. If it's more on the indica side, you're looking at 2-3 weeks more and it'll still add to your harvest. Some sativas like the big haze offshoots can take up to 90 days to finish! Hope this helps and good luck.
