Is Co2 for outdoors good?

I have my plants growing out doors and I was wondering if co2 tanks would be a good investment, or if co2 is better for indoor use. The girls are in an area about 20x10 ft and surrounded by brick. Also, if I do use co2 should I use it throughout the entire veg and flowering process? Thank you:peace:

You should preload the area with CO2 for a few months prior to planting, then run it 24/7.. Depending on the wind, 500-600 tanks/day should be sufficient.. Would get pretty pricey though.. I guess another option would be to get a genetically engineered hamster/wolverine/killer-bee cross and let him both supply the plants with CO2, and guard them from thieves..:)

You can use it in a greenhouse, If you can somehow manage to wrap the hose around your outdoor plants I suppose it can work, but not as good as it would indoors.

LOL at the OP. I guess he doesn't understand that CO2 is a gas and doesn't just plop out of the tank and sit beside your plants when you turn it on :)

Well it is about 1.5x as dense as typical air, and he is in a courtyard of sorts, but a small breeze will flush all that CO2 in seconds without a ceiling.. On the otherhand, 10x20' isn't impossible to cover with clear plastic, but then back to the original hand, that kills intensity quite a bit, and intensity/CO2 go hand in hand.. I'm really torn as to whether that would be beneficial or counter-productive, but considering the extra cost, and need for wiring if it doesn't exist in that area, I'd probably just let nature do its thing..

Many growers in NorCal use CO2 in their greenhouses and even use HPS lights in them also. The bud is definitely $100/eighth stuff. The already high CO2 air from the mountains mixed with the supplemented CO2, and the blue spectrum of light mixed with the HPS makes amazing bud.

$100US for an eighth?? Around here, common decent outdoor runs for $25CDN, and prettier stuff runs for $30.. Those might go up $5 each just prior to outdoor harvest season.. Alot of ppl who don't know how to smoke properly go through like an eighth/day, how the hell do kids there support 35-40k habits/year???
Also, CO2 addition doesn't affect the end quality, unless you're using too much light for your levels, but IMO the best weed is far from the most brightly lighted buds in the crop (High CO2 merely helps plants use more light productively, instead of forcing the plants to respirate O2, forming damaging peroxides and the like.. How much intensity a plant can handle productively is a genetics and health thing).. And lastly wtf are you talking about regarding high CO2 levels in the mountains?? CO2 is about 1.5x as dense as typical atmospheric air.. You get more the lower you go..

A little far away to see trees.. I literally grew up in the bush.. Anyways, nature reclaims itself pretty damn quickly.. I'll always be able to find nature for myself when I want it though.. I get your point, but honestly I hate hippy tree spiking idiots ALOT more than the mega-corporations that they think they're affecting..
