Is flushing ALWAYS necessary during flowering?

I am about 2.5 weeks out from harvesting, and I have not flushed my pot once. The plant is very green, and if it ain't broke dont fix it, but I cant help but think "If I just flush it out, all the salts that built up will be gone, and it will grow even faster/stronger/better!"

What are your thoughts? I used miracle gro fertilizer for a few weeks, but have switched to a Walmart organic fertilizer. I plan to flush it with a week left, but do you think I should do it sooner to help clear out the "junk"?

pictures of what....if it was a truly organic fert then you dont need to flush but if there were any chemical ferts in there flush if if you want weed that doesn't sparkle and crackle

some with the flash on, some with the flash off.

i think the plant is overheating cause the tape i used to seal the exhaust came off. I restuck it though, so hopefully that cools it down some. plus the heat here is too hot (~85 ambient)

even cheap organic fertilizer is ok until the end? I'm not into buying $20 organic fertilizers. I bought a $6 five pound bag of organic fertilizer. it says "Derived from bone meal, meat meal, poultry meal, and langeinite" with the familiar analysis of nitrogen, phosphate, and potash.

I think I'll fertilizer this friday, and then do a 3-to-1 flush the following friday, then chop it down the friday after that. Would I be cutting off the nutrients too soon with this schedule? I'd rather be on the safer side and not have the buds have hints of fish or poultry...

i would agree with you i googled it and some people start cutting there organic nutes near the end. then flush for a week

I use organic fertilizer and although it won't make your buds crackle and it won't be bad for you it WILL impart a taste to your buds that you don't want I strongly suggest you flush for at least a week before harvest.
