Is Gmail the only usable email service for new members sign-up?

Hello!

So I tried using my Yahoo mail to sign up, waited for a few hours for the confirmation email to arrive and nothing. I went back and resent the confirmation email and waited till the next day and still nothing. Finally I caved and changed my email address to my Gmail and the confirmation email arrived instantly!

I really want to go back to my Yahoo mail. Is there a technical issue regarding using emails other than Gmail?

Thank you, I tried using my gmail because of this thread, and I'm glad it worked.

Issues with New Member Accounts (signing up, email confirmations)
