i have 4 bagseeds out of some good home grown i planted in ffof an i have one 2ft shop light with 2 17w t8 6500k bulbs.. help i dont wanna grow some seedy shit i am gonna post pics wen there old enough to have everyone help if there male or female there only 6 days rite now.. can i use the shop lights all the way thru veg an jus save money till then to get a nice light for flowering wat does everyone think?Photo-0086.jpg

You can use the shop lights, yes, but you will want to add many many more of them, OR you could get a HPS light and just use that for everything. You will want to wait 4-7 weeks for preflowers to show before we can determine sex.

You need 100 watts per plant to get some decent nug... go to walmart and buy some packs of 23watt CFLs if you're on a budget. $20 in cfl's will give you insanely better results then just using 2 17w tubes.

I think that is true if you think about it, that you can spend all that money and it might still turn out like shit, which happens...

I have a 4x4 tent and have maybe 12 or 13 hundred into the setup now, and am still trying to grow the fire...JR

iv seen killer bud come from hot humid cheap setups, but its rare, takes longer, wont yeild as much and prolly would be super killer if it were in good conditions

and some people spend all that money with out learning how to grow a plant first

you get what you put into it. We didn't grow very good stuff till we threw around $2500 into it. Now we produce much better buds. Of course no amount of gear is going to replace experience, so your results may vary :)
