is it Indica(couchlock) Sativa(cerebral) or Amber trich (couchlock) Milky trich (cer)

I've grown up being told that Indicas are couchlock high strains and Sativas are cerebral high strains...

now I'm being told that amber triches = couchlock and milky white triches = cerebral???

after researching and growing myself I'm now asking myself what is the real diff between Indica and Sativa besides height, growth rate and flavor if both can be a couchlock or a cerebral?

im thinking Sativas are usually cerebral because people pick them earlier than they're supposed to because of the longer wait?

I would just break it down to what gets you high and How. It has to be amber milky because how THC degrades

like the THC, CBD, CBN, THCV, CBC, and CBl...

each strain is going to produce different %s of these cannabinoids. so it is also strain dependent... i think you just have some influence depending on when you chop.

sativas usually grow taller and skinny...with skinnier leaves.while the indicas stay mostly short and bushy with broader leaves.in most cases you get a up type head high from sativas and a relaxing body buzz from indicas.and the trichs do have influences with which way it leans.cloudy trichs is more head high while amber trichs produce more of a body buzz...you want a mix of about 50/50 to get the best of both worlds...this is what i used to go by when i started growing

Sativa pulled early - SUPER HEAD HIGH Energetic
Sativa pulled later - Relaxed Head High uplifting but not hyper
Indica pulled early - Body High appetite stimulant

Indica pulled later - Couch lock...... Munchies, smoke, munchies, sleep


There are reasons for this but im way too lazy to go into the degredation of thc into cbd's and cbn's satavis more thc head high and mental effect, indica more cbd's cbn's body high narcotic pain relief and appetite stimulant.

Hybrids are their own league, 30 ind 70 Sat, gonna get a lil body high and a nice cerebral high, depending on when you pull it it will be more uplifitng and clear or heavy and body lock.

Hope this jumble of text helps, tried to keep it super simple.
