basically just as the title reads.

Are bugs inevitable in the garden? Have friends that say bugs WILL happen. I just tend to think if the garden(dresser) is kept clean and everything. Than bugs shouldnt be a problem to begin with?

Are bugs ALWAYS a guarenteed thing? Would be nice to have a flawless grow if all precautions taken. lol

Indoor, I would say "Yes, it's possible."
Outdoors, well, that's another story.
I just picked up my Indica last night, which I have not had any indication of bugs on yet, (Outdoor plant) and on the towel I set her on, on the counter, there was a sticky caterpillar sticking itself to the towel.
It had to have come out of one of the drainage holes, but I am so close to finishing the plant now after cutting the top 6" off last night, I'm not going to worry about it.foundindicaoct28_zps6b5c5014.jpg

Long time npc!Yes you can have a bugless indoor grow.My first grow I got F....smites because I brought in a couple pepper plants from outside.Knock on wood but my last three have been bugless except a few gnats, but if you don't have gnats you're not growing....lol.There's a few other members I know that are also bugless. It can be done.peace.

No matter what all Indoor growers will face a pest or two seasonally .. Its unavoidable for the most part .. Flys of the assortment make way into buildings no matter , Thrips and mites will hitchhike and freely climb through screens as well as cracks and crevices ..

Its the growers part to maintain a Pest prevention program .. I dont get elaborate myself but I do always keep an open eye and using sticky traps as a preventative is one thing I do , as well as keeping a clean room and not allowing sick plants to survive , they are magnets for pests ..

Then there are STD'S Strain Transferred Diseases and this includes insects beware 99% of infestations are due to this .. Always quarantine new stock for a minimal of 3 weeks

So yes in conclusion its possible to run a clean insect free garden time after time but there will always be a pest once in a while , 1 year free here of all insects and then the fall sent thrips my way .. Caught them early and they are gone .. Winters almost here then I relax more

Read where Sierra Natural Science's SNS209 added to the water every watering will keep bugs from staying on the plants.
