Is it possible to train a plant to grow sideways?

hey everyone I am planning to set up a grow in my dresser drawers using sea of green. Can I instead grow a few larger plants horizontaly by tieing them down? Will they continue to grow in length after being tied down?

you can get them to grow almost entirely horiontal by tying down. The buds will then grow vertically and each one will be similar to a main cola. LST (lots of info on LST on this site) is pretty much the process you are talking about, you can also get a few plants and get them to grow like a spiral around your pots with the same basic effect.
