Is it safe to grow at college?

Hey guys i'm going back to college soon and im wondering if its safe to grow in the dorms? ive got my own room there but it would be nice to know anybody has done it..

i make a 1'x1'x3' grow box that maybe i could put a tv on.

yall are welcome to share your "college success" growing stories. my problem is i dont have enough time over summer, but i think theres an uber high risk of getting caught at college...

if you want to get kicked out of school and loose financial aide have a hard time ever getting into a school and possibly jail time or a record, then ya grow at school

if you want to be smart, wait untill you are in a position where you can grow with out these worries

i concur, its not worth the risk. you have to be off campus. my friend got 6 weeks through flowering, and security smelled it outside of his door even with security measures. its not worth the risk and the harvest will be so meager in a space like that there's no point. wait till you got a place for yourself!

Being in college you should make responsible decisions and growing on campus is a dumb idea. That's just my two cents but I really don't care If you do or don't.

Your there to learn not grow. I think it would be a huge mistake.

yes it could be pulled off, but why risk it. if you feel like you would be taking a huge risk dont do it. personaly i would consider doing it just because im really crazy and stupid and dont give a shit about much. take the time to really think it through before you jump into it. your gut will make the best decision.

guys got caught in my dorm first month. There they go. . . People get caught with weed growing in dorm. Not worth it.

All colleges have zero tolerance to drugs (if you're dealing or growing). Most will tolerate an 8th or less, but I'm sure you'll get fined and have to go to a drug abuse class.

I can think of two real world accounts of people selling and growing weed in college. My freshmen year I remember one kid that I kind of knew (he was a major hippy but a cool guy that was down to smoke anyone out) was growing in his room. Some one rated him out and he got busted bad, like the cops came handcuffed his ass and pressed felony charges bad (he was growing in a school zone and near a church) this was a catholic college so needless to say they pressed charges to the full extent of the law.

Next, my buddy that sold a little bit of weed here and there (he mostly sold just to smoke himself and friends out for free) got ratted out by his room mate who had aspirations of going to med school (these catholics scared this kid into ratting by telling everyone if your roommate sells drugs then you face the same consequences even if you didn't know about it). Needless to say this kid ratted on my buddy (who actually was a very nice guy. He sold weed to me at his cost and smoked everyone out all the time). This pretty much ruined my buddy's academic career, he got kicked out of school, had charges pressed on him, and pretty much can't get into any other colleges (catholic colleges are pretty tough on drugs). From my understanding on his transcripts it says he got kicked out for doing some sort of illegal activity. And yes even if you don't submit your transcripts to your next college they may audit your academic history to see whats up. I had this happen to me once. I really had nothing to worry about though I just forgot to mention some summer school classes I took for no credits just hours.

I'm from the UK and my college was loaded with smokers, the smoking area uasually stank of weed, but that man people in a small space, it was impossible to tell who had the joint(s).

Saying that, anybody who got caught was expelled the same day. It wasn't a college with dorms though, my guess is they have harsher watch over you in places like that. And well getting caught with weed is one thing, getting caught growing a plant in college, takes the piss and they won't hold back on punishments.

Use your time at college to learn techniques use and abuse the learning resources at your disposal

But really, I germinated seeds and started the seedlings in dorms, but I had to move them to a real closet where there was enough room. Besides, Dorms are actually not as private as you think most likely. read the contract for your dorms.

Also, There's tons of people, so unless you somehow smuggle all the supplies and set up without anyone knowing, then tough luck

used to know a guy who moved mad weight thru his dorm room...never got busted...but he also suggested that even at moving a p or 2 a week, the risk factor is incredible in a college dorm...not only do you have to worry about the smell and noise in that tiny ass cell of yours, but the drunk tity smackin bitches, the possible law school rats, student constables, building dons, campus security, and not to mention the 5-0. If you REALLY know your stuff, a small personal stealth op is certainly possible to get away with as long as you follow the rules and DO NOT have a roomate (like my old friend..kept every move knowledgeable only to himself) but its extremely risky and in my opinion not worth the consequences man.

if you want to grow then stay out of college i would not grow at college unless i had no other way of getting bud but then if it was me i just wouldnt go to college.

Dont bother inside maybe take a walk about a mile away and go gorilla!

You could always scout the local area and find somewhere outdoors to plant a plant or so. But I would strongly suggest doing this off campus.

yeah, i know right! i wish they would just hurry up and legalise it, ya know. but oh well at least by the time im ready to grow pro then ill have spent enough time here so ill know everything...

If you go to college, I would suggest to rent an apartment instead of living in the dorms. You will be better off then, if not then buy from the happy times guy.
