I was feeding my plant today fed prob about 1/3 of a gal was nothing added ab another 1/3 and wasn't paying attention but I had already got runoff after that went to water with another 1/3 and after I was done I realized it had runoff.
Stuck my finger in there it was dry when I lifter the pot it was like a feather but is it supposed to be taking prob less than half a gal in a 5 gal bucket?

You let the soil become hydrophobic so it's repelling the water and the water is just racing thru the pot taking the easiest path back out and not getting absorbed into the soil. Breaking up the top inch will help clog up the roots the water is taking to escape and get it to absorb and work thru the soil better

Update pots heavy asf I only got 1 cup 1/4 runoff
Looked like alot more but guess not
Looks about normal so should I still worry?

What are you feeding, or is that a charged soil? How big is the pot? How many gallons did you put in to get your cup and a quarter of run off. All that matters

Ok so I put in a little more of less of 3/4 of a gal
The pot there growing in is 5 gal
basically 3/4ginput =1cup and 1/4 Runoff
I dont think it's a charged soil I use advanced nutrient 3 part used plain water today

You can just make 2 gallons of half strength feed and put it all thru her. Should carry out the excess salts and leave her with something to eat.

But where is the root of the issue? Overfeeding by feed strength. So half of what you have been feeding is all she really.probably wants or needs

You should look up slurry test and so that first and stop throwing darts and seeing what issue you hit
Pretty sure it might be alkaline when I tested it was neutral ph meter says somewhere between 7.5 gonna do a slurry in a sec
So even if nutrients are high ph or wtv will cause stuff? All I'm having problems with is leaves yellowing and dieing
