Is it too early for leaves to be fading? Week 5 flowering

I flipped the light cycle on Jan 18th, these are supposed to be an 8-9wk strain. They are in an organic living soil I made but I think they need a top dressing or tea because the leaves are fading already. Advice for a first time grower?456F92D4-6FCF-4ABF-B0B6-74C9CD7AA9B5.jpeg085DAA77-4ED1-4A3C-B1D5-4D49478564F5.jpeg02D2B4DD-95AB-4066-AD94-2F524550EB3D.jpeg160F7797-AFE0-43EC-84F3-73718098E4AA.jpeg00518769-FFC2-4054-9D35-DB05578E1BE6.jpeg

They naturally drop the leaves closest to the stem about 4th to 5th week in flower. I think your pH might be low. What medium are you growing in? Cheers!

Edit: Living soil, do you pH your water and what do you feed her? Do you have your top feeding on a schedule?

I do not check the ph of the water, I use reverse osmosis water with 1-2tsp organic cal mag per gallon. Other than that haven’t fed it anything but the soil was very rich with organic amendments and I composted them into the soil. I think I slacked on not doing any top dressings or teas yet but it’s my first grow and the soil recipe said it would be sufficient to finish a plant. It’s the true living organics book recipe

They don't look to bad to be honest, just a little hungry. I would top dress and just kept doing what you're doing. Awesome job on your first grow so far!

EWC teas between feedings really help to bring out the full potential with organics.

Thanks man! I’m gonna spend today putting together a tea. I’ve definitely learned a lot from this grow. going into the next one I’ll do more as far as training/defoliation/feeding. I’m just glad the one plant is frosty af it looks like it’s gonna be some dank :bigjoint:

Teas for the win! That microbial life is essential for living soil. Not looking too bad imo and fuckin great for a first grow!

Things look great but u were definitely right to try and get this figured out. If u did nothing u will get to the end and have smoke but u might not be able to push it that last week or two and take advantage of the bulk. A little tea should set u straight but from what I've seen be careful not to make it too hot
