Is it worth getting?

Inkbird is a site supporter and they sell similar items. They are well built and pretty easy to use. I have a plethora of their stuff. I like it a lot. One gripe I have, which isn't a big deal at all in the grow tent is that they can be configured to update every 15, 30, or 60 minutes or so. When I put one in my koolatron I use to dry and cure, I like constant updating to provide a nice graph to see humidity and temp ranges all day. For that, I use Govee items. But, for a tent and to monitor that environment, buy the inkbird equivalent and you won't be disappointed.

Having a wifi/bt enabled therm/hygro is definitely worth having unless you're using a smart controller that probably already does the same thing. Any one that can actually graph the conditions across time is also helpful to figure out not only what is happening but what the grow environment is doing across a handful of days, weeks, months, etc.

i have a govee monitor. love it, shows temp, RH, VPD. also use one for the chicken coop. only issue is as soon as you're out of range, it's useless. it works off bluetooth so when you're home, great. yesterday i was traveling and i had no way of monitoring.

edit: just reread your post - yes, go for the wifi. i only got bluetooth because we're not gone often for more than 8 hours at a time, if that, since we both wfh. and with the chicken coop, we have to tend to it multiple times a day so we're already poking our heads in there anyway.

I have a similar Govee one, but it's WiFi, so good wherever you have internet service. These days it monitors temps/humidity in my garage since I use a AC Infinity 69 Pro and have a Inkbird WiFi unit for my heater. The alarm setting on the Govee can be good if there's a sudden problem in your growing area.
