Is it worth the filter cost?

I use a Zerowater pitcher for my drinking water, was just thinking it might do some good for my girls. Anyone tried it? Filters are about double the price as brita, but it works SO MUCH BETTER. Thought the girls might enjoy a break from the chlorine, lead, fluoride, arsenic and other crap in everyones water, especially the fluoride I hate that shit it is so bad for us I don't see how it can't be bad for the plants. 2 packs of the filters are about $30, but my tap water is already some of the cleanest in the country and so far I've managed to put 25 gallons through 1 pitcher filter and my reading is still 0. Seems worth it to me, but I'd like to know if anyone has tried it and seen a difference in their plants??
