I've been dealing with high humidity during the night and after feeding. These are pics that I took last night. Is my crop ruined?
What would the proper....be?Definitely not ruined just adjust the proper humidity, temperature, light and they'll be okay. Most likely the inclination from the normal conditions was not that drastic and for just one-two nights so the plants are gonna selfheal if you make the conditions right asap
I have issues with low humidity in my grow tent and I live in the south. It's 87% humidity outside but only 51 in my tent, I try to get it up during veg but it drops right back down, it holds at around 45-55% at all times, the highest I've ever had it is around 60%. Unless my hygrometer is wrong. What would the proper....be?
I'm finding a lot of contradicting info. Especially for humidity levels
add a fan and increase your airflowHigh 70s almost 80%
I have a portable a/c hooked to my tent and it has a dehumidifier option but haven't had to use itHigh 70s almost 80%
Wouldn't AC lower your temps?I have a portable a/c hooked to my tent and it has a dehumidifier option but haven't had to use it
I seen where humidity should be high early veg, then lowered. But I keep seeing contributionsAre you keeping the humidity high on purpose?
Powdery mildew is not systemic, so if you get your environment in check and remove any infected leaves you should be good. PM is more of an outdoor thing, it should be easy to prevent it indoors...

Maybe for optimal growth, like if you're following a VPD chart, but they can tolerate a pretty wide range in veg. Mine seem to do okay at 40-50% RH, and as a home/hobby grower, I'd rather have slightly slower or less-than-optimal growth than deal with PM...I seen where humidity should be high early veg, then lowered. If I need it to right now it's on fan, in the south today it may be 40 and tomorrow it may be 80, when the temps in my tent get up close to 90 I run the a/c.Wouldn't AC lower your temps?
