Your cola ain't going to win any beauty contests, but the plant will recover with a mild case of shock. She'll grow a little slower than normal, and probably not as tall, but she will grow. Everyone has done it, if it makes you feel any better. Good luck.

Yep, I did it too, but she topped herself and I ended up with 2 smaller kolas...lol...and it didn't slow mine down at all..

She's only just begun to flower, so were it me I'd probably top it just below the burned area & hope for the best.

Welcome to RIU bro.

Like GreatwhiteNorth said....top her and move on. I wouldnt leave anything dead on your plants. Thats asking for trouble.

A friend of mine burned his head ( he is bald ) on a 1000 watt light.
You could actually smell the flesh burning.
Still has a scar 2 years later..
He was helping me move plants and stood up right under the light and even with the glass it was frigging hot.
Every time I see it I start laughing.

And I've banged a plant against the light....takes a while to recover though.

Hmmmm What's the good smell ? Oh Crap ! It's my cola on fire !

Happens.

Good luck.

Since the burn the plant has started to give more run off , I used to give it 1litre a day with a 10% run off and now the run off is about 20% , is this normal ? And can anyone tell me what she will do when stressed...?please,cheers
