Is my plant a male?

I found the seed in my bud and just started growing but is this plant a male? I thought it was a female a and budding but this morning, i saw that a few flowers had opened. Is this normal for a plant beginning the flowering stage or is this a male plant?

Again, first time grower. Please be kind.

Yes. That's a dude. He is actually about to open and spread his pollen on the air. He looks good but I doubt that is what you were shooting for.

Save some of that pollen for when you decide to make yourself some seeds.
Make sure to keep it away from any flowering ladies though. :P

I don't want to kill him but i really can't move my guy anywhere away from the others. The good thing is they're all about 2weeks younger and a little stunted due to space constraints. Can i just cut the flowers off?

Well once the flowers open the pollen is/has spread throughout.
Age has nothing to do with it...if the other plants are flowering they are susceptible and will be filled with seeds.

Not only male but looks like a seedbank. If you cannot move it away from the others and don't want seeds I would say kill it. Collecting the pollen was a good suggestion, just don't do it anywhere near your ladies. What would you be trying to accomplish by cutting the flowers off?

Nothing else is even close to flowering. Its just him. So again, can i cut the flowers off?
To what end? I can see seeds in all the nodes, to get rid of them would leave nothing but the stock and a couple leaves so I cannot see what the plants purpose would be at that point. You can sometimes pick off nanners or pollen sacks but in the case of your plant it is way too far along for that in my opinion.

It would keep him from pollinating the females and preserve him. I'm moving and will have more space. I just need to get there.

Honestly I don't think there would really be anything left of the plant and you would be risking the rest of your plants. That said it is all up to you, I know it can be disheartening to have to kill a plant but it happens. Good luck.
