So my plant is around 6 weeks old now I only had 2 26 watt cfl;s on it but last night I added a 65 watt flouresent flood light it says 6800 lumens and lights up to 2400 sq feet I. placed it on the bottom side of the plant not above the plant because it does not have a real plug it has 2 little metal wires you have to put in the outlet so i got to get them in right that why i cant position light where i would like to put it.I just started flowering to i got a big 4 or 5 gallon pot in the corner of a room and the 2 26 watt cfls are in lamps at th etop of the plant.Do you think the 65 watt i added will help alot? its about 4 -8 inches from the plant.

I jiust poured some h2o2 mixed with water to kill those bitch ass gnats

You are asking for a fire. Why not splice a proper cord & plug to the wires?

Heya,
Your setup sounds good, my view on your situation .... Y put the big 6800 lumens underneath? the only light from that bulb the plant could use is light that has been reflective back to the top side of the leaf.. Light has to hit the top of the leaf to be effective. Also sounds abit dodgy just sticking two wires into each of the holes in a plug. Is this what you are doing? Cause thats abit dangerous. Sorry, very dangerous. FIRE, i'LL TEACH YOU TO BURN. is that how the song goes?? anyway..
Yes to the 65 watter helping, it would be very benifical, , if you could set it up ,65watter in the middle and top and the other two use as side lighters, which are lower than the 65 and further down the plant. Like a triangle,if you get what I mean.
If you can put your hand inbetween the light and plant and your hand can stay there, not to hot, then the plant can deal with that heat. Rule of thumd for cfl's, I put um between 2-6inches, if its not to hot. This keeps stretching to a minium, and keeps the bulb nice and close to the plant.

Can I ask what the spectrum of your cfls is? remember red for flower, blue/white for veg. 2700k and 6300k,cant remeber of hand which is which but it on the site.
Hope that helps,, sorry for spelling mistakes, quite baked,,take it easy..

the 65 watt is a bright white spectrum and the 26 watts are a yellowish spectrum

splice a proper cord & plug to the wires? i dont know what that means but ima look it up caus all im doing now is putt little metal wires in the outlet lol
