Is my soil too dry?

What is that soil you are using? It looks like it is full of wood chunks. Personally I wouldn't think that will be good for root development.

Sta-green which I’m sure is ass lol but it’s my first time just kinda used what I had around I’m gonna pick up some fox farms this week probably but I will pick some out I tried my best to make sure everything was smooth underneath but do you think I need more water?

Looks completely dry on top. Do you have drain holes? Very slowly add water until the slightest drip out of the bottom. STOP.
Get a feel for that saturated weight and compare against dry weight. I use a scale and don't water until I'm just above dry weight
and keep a bit below saturated weight. Moist not wet is key.

I do have drainage holes which worked when I gave the cup it’s first watering and flushed it basically to make sure it was wet And dropped my seeds in. It’s been 3 days now and I’ve been watering 1 or 2 times very lightly on top I’ve been scared to overwater and drown my seeds that’s happened the very first time I tried all this. Still very very new and getting the hang of everything hahah thanks for the advice will give them a nice watering once I get home

Too much water to start the seed in I think. I'd mist them more than once a day if only misting.
