Give them another week or 2 and clean up all the dead and any that is 50% dead (leaves) One week before flowering start giving them low dose's of Bloom food.

the bottom line is you can veg for as long as you want - a mother plant for clones is kept in veg forever. 8 weeks is already longer than average from what this fellow noobie has seen on this site but the longer the veg the higher the yield. your call

I myself veg until plant reaches 20" at least then I move to flower room if there is Room and if I have to wait 2 weeks or more for room I top so lowers will grow up.

makes sense... well I am working with bag seed so I don't know how many females I will have... my closet is a 3'' L x 3'' W x 7'' H and I am accually gonna be getting a 400 Watt HPS bulb so for 3 or 4 (HOPEFULLY :) ) plants around 16 inches is that good?

and maybe a little closer on the lights...those are some fairly far spaced nodes on a couple of them.......I usually have 8 to 11 nodes at 12" tall........just my opinion

Ok so now I am 3 days into flowering and I got a 400 watt HPS about 2 feet from my plants how long does it take before I can tell which are male and which are female about a week or two? I don't know anything specific about it as it was some bagseed and of course as everyone else says... "it was some great weed tho".... ummmm right now I have some miracle grow bloom stuff but imma get some organic shit when I get some money cause I think MG has to many chemicals in it. I keep reading on here that people swear by foxfarm so imma try to get some the that open seseame and cha ching and shit. do I sound like im on the right path??? Any suggestions

Sounds good but def get bigger pots mate.
A friend of my had a plant in a small pot when putting in to flower i think it was a 10L pot.Told him to get another one , he got a 30L and BOOM the size it grew in to.
Bigger pot means more room for the roots, more room for the roots means bigger plants:twisted:

Good luck with the grow.bongsmilie

lol well thats the thing I ran out of money and all I have is 4 2G pots but I have 6 total plants so I was gonna wait to find out which was male and when I found out which are female I would transplant then because I know I won't get more than 4 females.... Or do you think I should just transplant what I can now and if they turn out to be males kick the males and just stick the female in the pot?

yield is everyone;s favorite question that depends on way too many variables to give you a good estimate. experienced growers can get a couple of ounces per plant, really good ones a bit more. forget about lb grows unless you are growing 7 ft monsters

if you are going to transplant do it now, you dont want to be far in flower during a transplant. it is actually best to get all transplanting done before flower. With a 400w you really dont want plants bigger than 3 1/2 feet tall ( this includes total height ), that is about how far the 400w light is effective. you could go bigger with some supplemental side lighting.
