You're texan too? I think the sin is caring more about the drug than family, responsibility, your life.
The first thing Noah did after the flood was plant "wine seed" and when they ran out of wine at a wedding, Jesus made more knowing they where drunk already.

actually the female plant that we all love and enjoy, does not bear seed so biblically speaking that scripture would not work...and we don't use it for meat....BUT there are a couple scripture for all those deity ruled people that you could use in your argument as an excuse...for that which you partake of ...

i would think that unless you are using it for medical reasons, smoking weed is a sin. smoking to alter your consciousness, (just to get high) isn't something He would prob. look kindly on...

It doesn't tell us to smoke herbs though. Inhaling smoke is instinctively bad for your airways and body. That could be viewed as sin to many people.
Use your conscience and morals to determine bad and good.... everything else will sort itself out. If you feel like you're doing good, then you are. If you do something you feel bad about, then learn from it.

Marijuana smoke isn't poisonous, yes smoke from other things but not marijuana, marijuana smoke gets deep into your lungs kills bacteria and causes you to cough up bacteria. Marijuana is medicine I didn't come to argue over the medicinal benefits of marijuana or argue anything in general, I will not be re-posting the same issue to death and copy and paste facts to convince you marijuana is beneficial. Yes Marijuana is Medicine you do you own research and Yes you can smoke your weed without thinking your'e sinning it's a blessing. No it's not a sin all the sins are written specifically so you can avoid it. Oh yeah in case you forgot GOD said it was

I think that if you put smoking weed before YHWH's word or his commands that it would be considered an idol and idolatry is a violation of one of his commands. I like to consider it like having an occasional drink if you use recreational. If you use for medicinal reasons then its YHWH's way of getting us away from big pharma and to make our own medicine. Just my opinion that I'm giving. Not here to argue who has the only or best answer to this question or push my beliefs on anyone. Shalom

I agree. Mary was the one who told everyone that Jesus could make wine when they ran out. It suggests that Jesus did it at home because the only clean water was through wine in those days. Seriously, they didn't know how to clean water back then!

i don't believe it matters what method you use. using anything for the sake of getting high, (imo) is sinful in the eye's of the Lord. drinking a glass of wine at dinner, o.k. drinking 5 glasses so you can get drunk, equals a sin.

actually to me its all good; it isn't my logic though it's a bible quote…but I guess the reason the watermelon is seedless is that, like the cannabis plant it has to be pollinated also to bear seed…but anyway I don't think it's wrong…my rule is treat people the way you want to be treated, and everything else is good.
