Is technology going to save the world. . . or kill it?

Why so many naysayers with regards to technology? Are the latest LED lights not technology? What about those EC and pH meters? What about all the automation people are using in their grow rooms? Monitoring their plants from miles away with their cell phones, etc... That's all technology and it's made peoples lives easier.

Might as well use technology to your advantage as most seem to be doing. It's here to stay and only going to get better.

This is pretty cool, Be nice to not be told you can't park your $35,000 EV in your garage due to risk of fire.

I just saw a story (still here in Cali) that EV’s are taking a dive. Tesla down, Fords EV sales have come to a standstill, Hyundai down over 50% , Kia down 68%.. and GM’s Hummer sold 2 units Nationwide for Q1. What’s going on? They not living up to the hype?…. Ford claims the Lightning will get a 300 mile range, but if you hook up a boat to it, expect about 68 miles before it needs a long recharge.

There's still the option left to transform the planet into a "Borg"-homeworld where only synthetic life can exist. It may even be a natural evolutionary process given how technology can evolve, and take over, at some point :blsmoke:

Agree with this, it is important to remember that it's up to us to use it responsibly and in a way that maximizes its benefits. Technology is here to stay, and we can only expect it to continue to evolve and improve.
