Is there any way of selecting specific PARTS of a plants genetic makup to cross?

Hey, just after some breeding advice from you breeders!

Right - my fave strain has pretty much died out (paradise Rox), I wanna make a new hybrid using as many of the original genetics for it as I can...simply because I cannot get hold of a male Rox plant

Basically, I know the strain contains Erdbeeri - but very little (enough for them to class the plant as "mostly indica"...when Erdbeeri is a Sativa - I have no idea what the dominant indica is)

If I get an erdbeeri plant and cross it with a strong indica CAN I somehow control the amount of sativa genes present in the offspring?

I have the ability of breeding a clone of my fave plant, hows about if I back-crossed it with Erdbeeri? Would the offspring have a lot more Erdbeeri genes present as it is not the dominant strain in the original clone I bred from?

Otherwise SHOULD I cross it with another similar-tasting indica as I am after couchlock?

try and find a male that has the most traits you want..if you can backcross with your fav plant that whould be faster..
