MY plant is about 2-3 feet but the plants conapy seems to be blocking any development of leaves or branched below it. The plant is healthy green, nothing wrong with it asteticaly but the plant only seems to be growing at the top rather then from multiple stems. should i be woried it doest have too many branchs or will they just grow with time?

Sounds to me like you do not have enough light to reach the entire plant. The whole lot should have light from base to top. do you have any pictures of it?

I always trim off the bottom 1/3 of the plant just before placing it into flowering and once more about two weeks into flowering. The light won't reach there amyway and this allows for good air circulation. Heres a picture of what they look like a week after the second trim. VV

Is your plant outside? I am assuming that it is since this is the outside forum. You can trim some fan leaves off to allow more light to the bottom branches, but don't worry too much lots of times the bottom is the last to fill out. You can also trim branches if you want to clone and the bottom will catch up to the top in that manner. The general rule of thumb what you do to the top stimulates the bottom and if you prune the bottom you stimulate the top. Good Luck and let nature do her thing and you will be happy.:blsmoke:
