On an average daily basis how much cash do you have on you? no atm, no "wait my friend
can loan me", just what can you access "NOW" with no assistance and NO theft.

is it just the lint in your pocket or do you carry any coins ever?
paper money do you organize the bills? at all, just by denomination or do you full file? face up all front
facing in order.

This is not a "My bank account or I own ???" type of thread.

I don't carry coins daily. at the end of the day my coins go into a water jug.
My bill's are denomination filed only. if i'm lucky enough to have a $20 or something
bigger, which is rare, they get separated to a different compartment in my wallet.

Any average time of the day I guess I have any where from $5 to $20 total
in my wallet.

When at home if i had to scramble and gather as much as I could my guess
would be $217.18. that's after looking in my top drawer, emptying the coin jar
and checking a book or 2.

There have been days, far too many, where the only thing in my wallet was my ID:?

I don't like carrying change {Canada now has a $1 & $2 coins} so most go into a jar or jug of some kind. I would have to guess that if I needed to roll the change in a tight spot maybe $300-$400.

I always carry a folded $20 in my wallet...it used to be a quarter, but due to inflation lol

i dont carry cash most of the time.
I use my debit card for just about everything.

occasionally i will pull about $40 from the ATM.
and half the time i will use debit card even when i have the money in my wallet.
say i buy a $2 soda, and have a $20 in my pocket. i will usually opt to charge it debit, so that i dont end up with $18 in bills in my wallet.

but most of the time i have less then $20 on me.

i dont carry cash all tho i feel i should keep it in my house. i would hate to have some electric thing happen where all the bank accounts are gone. i would have probably at most $200 in my house. debit card is just more convient.

i usually keep 10-20 in small bills for w/e mini emergency pops up but i'll use my debit card for most purchases out of convenience. but money is of convenience too so i'll have it on me for that occasion. in my bank account right now though, i have 200 bucks and about 40 bucks for the week until i get paid. at which point i'll have 700 bucks in my account. lol. grow supplies

I am married... have not seen a paycheck or what they call money in about 17 years... this has been a godsend for me as I would spend it.

the issue is not with what you have on hand.. it's what you have for trade...

lets say the us $ goes to shit... having 5k on you will only be worth those who think the US $ will magically rebound..

I typically carry between $20 and $200 in cash. I withdraw it in $200. increments and use it for gas, groceries, WalMart etc. I don't use a debit card at all ... looking at how much cash I have makes a very nice and immediate reality check on what I can buy. The amount of change in my cash purse is usually most of a dollar. cn

i hate change i feel like fucking santa and his bells with a pocket full of change... alot of people thing im really nice and tip cashiers too much the reality is i don't want the change at all hahah

don't carry a wallet tho never have don't think i ever will to easy to get ripped off or if you loose it there gose all your shit at once. usually carry $100ish on me only becuase i cut my ATM card up a while ago i was draining it almost every day

i carry cash 20$ at most times, except for when i pay bills, but no cards to identify me, track where ive been and what im buying.

no change it all get collected makes too much noise and add weight. at the end of a week i usually end up with about about 20-30$ of change in the console of my car.

Right now I have 470$ in my wallet, It's way more than I usually keep in there, I had a garage sale last week-end, got rid of some useless junk trade it for sweet ca$h

Depends on the situation. I don't use banks so all my cash is usually in the safe. If I'm just going to work for the day I don't need more than 20 dollars for smokes, a couple powerades and lunch. Leaves me a few backs for after work in case I've forgotten to get gas. But if I'm going out with friends or something I need 100 bare minimum. I always keep just a little bit of mixed change in my wallet so I can give exact change or get all bills in return. Your total for something is 4.12 and all you have is a 20. Now your getting a ton of coins back instead of an even 16.
