Is this a big issue?

Hi Guys,

I just finished harvesting 4 strains, blue cheese, blue mystic, wonder woman, la woman. I am impressed with them all, especially the blue cheese and wonder woman. However, as I was trimming I encountered something I did not expect and have never seen before.

As I was trimming the blue cheese, I noticed one set of male reproductive parts under the lower set of buds on a few branches. Not all branches.. probably around 5-6 bunches in total. As I went through the rest of the plant.. I found 5 seeds buried in the buds. As I went through the other plants.. I noticed 2-3 seeds in the LA and Wonder Woman but not blue mystic.

So my question... is this bad? I know it isnt good.. but did it negatively impact the taste/yield? Any ideas how the Blue Cheese produced these male parts? Again.. only a few of them it didnt go all out hermi on me and still produced about 3/4 an ounce.

Thanks gents,

Im no pro but ,maybe a hermie , too late to change things ,but just so youll know pollen can stay viable for maybe 6 months ,just in case you find some source of it .Need to clean it out before next grow. Seems to me I have had buds do this ,like one or two seeds in a small plant ,weird .

its possible it started to go hermie on ya. save the seeds though it might help ya out in the long run. plus if you only found about 8 seeds in all plants be lucky it didnt ruin the whole crop

dont worry about it, its happened/happening to me. a lot of plants partially hermie and then stop themselves, it can be stress induced( light leaks etc) or , and this common, feminized seeds can hermie for no other reason than strain/seed is slightly unstable. if the plant is producing seeds the production of thc will be reduced because the plant is using its energy to make pollen sacs and seeds. when it first happened to me i freaked, and i do mean freaked i went fuckin mental for about 3 days, until i came on here and really started reading about it. if it happens again u do have to keep a VERY close watch on them, pick off the pollen sacs( better if u take it out your grow area just in case), check for seed formation and remove if seen and if u want to try it theres a stuff called dutch master reverse that claims to stop it continuing( sum people will argue about this but it seems to have worked for me). if u want some real in depth info then check these out. https://www.rollitup.org/seed-strain-reviews/182247-feminized-seeds-hermie-test-14-a.html or this https://www.rollitup.org/advanced-marijuana-cultivation/139699-dutchmasters-reverse-study-hermies.html

Ah, thanks a lot for the information guys. They are all feminized seeds. All of the male parts were very small and only underneath a few of the buds. I check them over everyday.. and I didnt even notice them till harvest. They looked old and spent.. telling me that they popped up at least a week or so ago. Anyways, thanks again,
